Awesome Ride

About Me

Comments:

Great ride but maybe its because I've been riding mountain bikes or my old 78 raleigh competition and everything feels better. Shifts great, very agile, the fit was done well. Did 20 miles on a path that was a little muddier and messier than I expected and it handled and rode well. No complaints from me on this bike, very happy camper... err.. biker. mike lambie

    Comments:

I have about 350 miles (and counting) so far including a century. This bike is light and the components are a step above. Consider this bike if you want quality and comfort, in a flashy package. Be prepared to go fast! I am really impressed with this bike, good job Specialized. A few questions I've answered: Q) Mushy carbon? A) No, not here. Q) Does it flex? A) Yes, that's good for dampening the bumps.

      Comments:

This bike is an excellent combination of speed and comfort. The geometry is aggressive enough to accelerate and stay there, but relaxed enough to stay on for a long time. The the bike climbs well, and descends even better. I have yet to experience hand numbness thanks to the carbon frame, Zertz inserts and gel bar tape. I rode a well-decked 6061 bike with carbon post, stem and fork, but this is much smoother. The 105 drive train works well too. Great bike at this price point.

Have just about 150 miles on the bike so far. After a re-fitting (shorter stem) the bike is fantastic to ride. Planning to do a century on it in June and I expect to have a great time riding on this bike.
